About the Location

The role is based at Four Seasons Hotel Doha, a beachfront urban resort in the heart of Qatar’s capital and business district. The property offers modern grandeur, sea views, an elegant lobby, lively restaurants and lounges, 237 rooms, 20 unbranded townhouse villas, a large food and beverage operation with 10 venues including the world’s largest Nobu restaurant, banqueting and outside catering, five pools, a private beach, a fitness center, and a spa and wellness center with hydrotherapy facilities such as an ice room, colour therapy room, steam room, and hydrotherapy pool. The hotel was renovated in 2019 and reopened in March 2020.

Role Summary

The Hostess at Nobu is responsible for welcoming guests, managing seating, handling reservations, and supporting smooth restaurant operations while maintaining Four Seasons service standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests quickly, ensuring tables are prepared for the correct party size and aligned with guest preferences.
• Prepare the hostess station, review the reservation log, recommend floor setup adjustments, and maintain station charts and cover counts while staying mindful of each server’s capacity.
• Answer phone calls in line with Four Seasons standards, take reservations, and provide information about the restaurant or other hotel services.
• Stay attentive to guest needs, respond to questions or concerns, and recognize returning guests by name when possible.
• Check menus every day to ensure they are clean, presentable, and in good condition, while keeping up to date on all menu items and daily specials.
• Work cooperatively and professionally with colleagues and supervisors.
• Handle assigned special tasks such as menu updates, signage, and similar operational needs.
• Make small table-setting corrections whenever required.

Preferred Qualifications

• A degree is preferred, ideally in hotel and restaurant management.
• Two to four years of experience in a luxury hotel or luxury resort environment.
• Strong English communication skills; Arabic is an added advantage.
