Role Overview
The company is hiring a labourer/general labourer for work at multiple sites in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. This position is suited to someone with prior experience in oil and gas construction environments, especially in facility, pipeline, or maintenance work.
Key Duties
- Support on-site labour activities as needed.
- Operate a skid steer if qualified, which is considered an advantage.
- Keep tools and equipment in safe, working condition and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Take part in daily toolbox meetings.
- Complete field-level hazard assessments (FLHAs).
- Assist with loading materials and securing them on trucks and trailers.
Skills and Job Requirements
- Ability to handle physically demanding work.
- Comfortable working with limited supervision while contributing to a safe, positive team setting.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Certifications and Onboarding
- First aid certification is required.
- Ground Disturbance Level 2 certification is required.
Work Conditions
- Schedule flexibility is required, including adjusted shifts.
- Work may take place both indoors and outdoors.
- Conditions can vary with weather and include a fast-paced environment.
