Role Overview

This role is for a Freight Broker based in Mohali. The position focuses on handling freight movement across the U.S. by working with shippers and carriers, finalizing rates, and supporting on-time deliveries while keeping relationships productive and professional.

Working Hours

The shift runs from 5:30 pm to 2:30 am.

Mohali, India

Key Responsibilities

Arrange and oversee shipments by coordinating directly with shippers and carriers.
Develop and maintain a dependable carrier base.
Discuss and settle freight pricing and contract terms.
Monitor shipment progress and step in to fix any transit issues.
Stay in touch with customers and share regular status updates.
Follow U.S. transportation rules and compliance requirements.
Keep documentation, logs, and reports accurate and up to date.

Required Background

At least 6 months of experience in U.S. freight brokerage or logistics.
Working understanding of freight operations and applicable regulations.
Good verbal and written communication abilities, along with negotiation skills.
Comfortable working night shifts in a dynamic, fast-moving setting.
Exposure to load boards, freight management tools, and MS Office.
