Mindrift works with specialists on AI-related initiatives for leading technology companies. The platform is designed to bring in real-world expertise from around the world to improve generative AI systems. For this assignment, Mindrift is partnering with Tendem to find a designer who can contribute strong creative judgment, domain knowledge, and precise formatting skills.

What you will do

You will create high-impact pitch decks and one-pagers for specific audiences, turning raw data and narrative inputs into visually clear and strategically persuasive slides. The role calls for a refined sense of visual hierarchy, minimalist communication, premium styling, and careful quality control before delivery.

Tools and working style

The work may involve PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma. The ideal contributor can design dynamic slides, create custom visual elements, and maintain consistent brand and layout standards across every deliverable.

Key responsibilities

• Build persuasive pitch decks and professional one-pagers tailored to target audiences.
• Convert dense or complicated data into simple, visually structured storytelling.
• Use minimal design, strong hierarchy, and clean formatting to improve clarity.
• Apply custom typography, refined animations, and consistent styling to elevate presentations.
• Keep all assets polished, aligned, brand-consistent, and visually balanced before submission.

Requirements

• Around 2 years or more of relevant experience in graphic design, presentation design, data visualization, or visual storytelling is preferred.
• A degree at bachelor’s or master’s level in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a related creative discipline is a plus.
• Strong ability to work with presentation software such as PowerPoint and Keynote to produce advanced, well-animated decks.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop, or with Figma for custom graphics and layouts.
• Ability to present layered information and complex datasets in a concise, elegant, and easy-to-follow format.
• Advanced command of typography and motion/animation to create premium-quality outputs.
• English proficiency at upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher is required.
• Experience producing premium corporate-meets-creative layouts is important.
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard for visual quality are expected.
• Ability to work independently and solve design problems without close supervision.
• A CV must include a portfolio link showing high-end presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization work.

Additional information

This is a freelance role for a Tendem project. Candidates should submit their resume in English and state their English level. Applicants will need to pass the required qualification step(s) before starting. Work can begin after qualification and is handled on a flexible schedule. During active phases, the expected workload is about 10 to 20 hours per week, though this is only an estimate and not guaranteed.

Compensation

The role can pay up to the equivalent of $50 per hour, depending on your contribution level and pace. Pay may differ across projects depending on scope, complexity, and the expertise required.
