Entry Electrical Helper

Role Overview

IES Commercial, Inc. doing business as IES Electrical is hiring a full-time Entry-Level Electrical Helper in Lubbock, Texas. This position supports commercial electricians with day-to-day field tasks, materials handling, and installation support.

Key Duties

• Support electricians by assisting with a range of jobsite tasks and moving materials as needed.
• Help place and secure conduit, wires, and strapping according to instructions.
• Assist with wire pulls and other work assigned by the supervisor.
• Work safely from different types of ladders.
• Follow company and customer safety rules and procedures at all times.
• Be prepared for travel if the job requires it.

Qualifications

Applicants should have up to 6 months of recent experience in the electrical field, a high school diploma or GED, and OSHA 10 certification or the ability to earn it. Final candidates must be able to pass a post-offer background check, and an MVR check is required when the role involves operating motor vehicles.
