Role overview
This position supports the site or factory EHS lead in rolling out safety initiatives and strengthening day-to-day health, safety, and environmental practices. The role is focused on monitoring site activities, coordinating audits and inspections, and helping the team maintain compliance and safe working conditions.
Key responsibilities
- Work alongside the site or factory EHS in-charge to put safety measures and initiatives into practice.
- Carry out routine inspections and monitor a range of site or factory operations.
- Help organize and conduct internal as well as external safety audits and inspections.
- Partner with the site or factory team to execute EHS programs and improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with contractor safety marshals to support implementation of safety programs on site.
- Assist in preparing safety reports and compiling safety statistics in a timely manner, then review the results for analysis.
- Support site or factory management in meeting safety requirements and in prioritizing safety actions for effective execution.
- Inspect workplaces and perform safety audits to identify gaps and improvement areas.
- Recognize major safety risks in operations and complete risk assessments for site activities.
- Work with different departments to ensure safety-related compliance is tracked and completed.
- Conduct safety training sessions and induction programs for employees and contractors.
