Overview
Glyco Drywall is hiring a drywall taper to work at its Delta, British Columbia location. This role involves hands-on finishing work at a physical job site and cannot be performed remotely.

Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent high school completion is required.

The position calls for 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience.
Work Arrangement

Key Duties
- Apply, level, and finish plaster coats so surfaces are smooth and even.
- Install metal corner beads on exterior corners for protection and clean edge finishing.
- Build and fit suspended metal ceiling grids and place panels to create acoustical or coffered ceilings.
- Use joint compound with a trowel and broad knife to fill seams, nail marks, holes, and cracks.
- Measure, trim, align, and install drywall sheets.
- Set drywall sheets in place and fasten them to metal or wooden studs or joists.
- Remove excess compound and allow each coat to dry properly.
- Use a taping machine to cover joints and embed tape into the compound.
