Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara is hiring a Door Person to serve as the first point of contact at the entrance. The position involves welcoming residents, guests, and visitors, supporting smooth entry and exit, and contributing to a secure, polished, and service-oriented environment.

Key responsibilities
- Receive residents, guests, and visitors with a courteous, professional approach.
- Support door operations by opening entrances and assisting with luggage, packages, and deliveries when required.
- Oversee entry and exit activity to help maintain access control and security.
- Keep an accurate record of visitors, deliveries, and service staff.
- Coordinate with concierge, security, or building management whenever resident requests or unusual situations arise.
- Arrange taxis or ride-share services and provide directions as needed.
- Answer routine questions and share information about the property’s facilities and services.
- Help maintain a tidy, organized, and welcoming lobby and entrance area.
- Act promptly during incidents or emergencies and follow reporting procedures.
Qualifications
The role is suited to candidates with a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification. Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or security is preferred. Strong communication and people skills are important, along with a professional presentation, a calm attitude, and the ability to stay attentive under pressure. Candidates should also be able to stand for long periods and lift light items when needed.
