Role Overview
The Delivery Driver is responsible for collecting and delivering packages to residential and/or commercial locations. The work takes place in a physically demanding, quick-moving setting that includes regular driving as well as frequent lifting, lowering, and carrying of parcels. Safe transportation practices are expected at all times, along with a strong focus on efficient, dependable customer service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to customers and pick up packages from homes and businesses.
- Apply safe driving techniques and follow established vehicle safety practices.
- Maintain a service-oriented approach and support timely, efficient deliveries.
- Handle packages through regular lifting, lowering, and carrying throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs. / 32 kgs.
- Must follow the organization’s appearance standards.
- Needs strong customer interaction skills and confident driving ability.
- Must meet local age and operational rules for driving a vehicle in this role.
- Must be available to work five days each week.
