Role overview
This is a full-time remote opportunity for a Data Partnerships Lead supporting a client focused on expanding and managing strategic data partnerships. The position is centered on building relationships that strengthen product capabilities and contribute to revenue through data monetization.
Key responsibilities
You will identify promising data partners, assess their fit for the platform, and shape partnership opportunities that support model quality and business growth. The role also includes negotiating and finalizing data licensing deals while balancing commercial goals with compliance obligations.
In addition, you will work closely with engineering teams to bring external data into existing pipelines and systems, track how each partnership performs, and suggest improvements or expansion opportunities based on results.
You will also coordinate with legal and compliance stakeholders to make sure all partnership activity aligns with internal policies and applicable regulations.
Required background
The role calls for experience in negotiating data licensing arrangements and broader partnership agreements, especially within technology or AI-focused environments. A strong grasp of data monetization approaches and data infrastructure is important, along with the ability to use data analysis methods to judge the value of a partnership.
Success in this role also requires comfort working across multiple functions, including engineering, product, and legal teams. Familiarity with data privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA, or similar regulations, is expected.
