Overview
We are recruiting for a partner company associated with Haystack for a Data Analyst position based in the Stuttgart region. This full-time onsite role sits within a global logistics environment and is focused on turning operational and commercial data into clear, actionable insights.
Role summary
The position is centered on analyzing key business metrics such as transport volumes, cost patterns, and delivery lead times to improve visibility across complex supply chains. You will also prepare data in a clear format and build reports and dashboards that help both specialist teams and management make informed decisions.
What you will do
- Examine operational and commercial indicators, including transport data, cost structures, and lead times, to improve transparency in supply chain operations.
- Structure datasets and translate them into reports and dashboard views that are easy for different stakeholders to understand.
- Spot bottlenecks, weaknesses, and improvement opportunities across the transport chain through data analysis.
- Contribute to digitalization efforts and process improvement projects, using data to support smarter decisions.
- Support internal departments by providing a reliable analytical basis for business decisions.
What we are looking for
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or a degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Logistics, or Business Informatics.
- Some prior work experience or project-based experience in data analysis, controlling, or process management.
- Strong command of MS Excel.
- Helpful if you have basic exposure to reporting tools or BI platforms.
- Good analytical ability with a structured and practical approach to solving problems.
