Role overview
A global technology business with a substantial footprint in digital products, innovation, and enterprise-scale software is hiring a data analyst for a 12-month contract. The role focuses on turning large volumes of data into practical insights that improve customer support operations, business performance, and strategic decision-making.
What you'll do
- Work through large, complex datasets with SQL, Python or R, Tableau, Hive, Presto, and related big-data tools.
- Shape and deliver analytics and data science work that supports business priorities and day-to-day operational outcomes.
- Create, enhance, and support advanced models, dashboards, and reporting systems that surface useful insights.
- Collaborate with teams across functions to identify opportunities, tackle business issues, and improve processes.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leaders.
- Build scalable reporting processes, performance measures, and KPI frameworks that help improve efficiency and decision-making.
- Guide and support other analysts while promoting strong practices in analytics, reporting, and data science.
What we're looking for
- At least 2 years of experience in data analytics, data science, business intelligence, or operational support in a technical setting.
- Strong command of SQL, including writing, tuning, and maintaining complex queries.
- Practical experience with visualization and big-data platforms such as Tableau, Hive, Presto, Python, or R.
- Good grasp of operational metrics, KPI design, reporting frameworks, and data pipeline concepts.
- Ability to turn complex data into clear business recommendations and strategic direction.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence decisions at different levels.
- Experience handling large-scale datasets and using analytics to drive measurable results.
- Prior exposure to customer operations, support environments, or scaled service teams would be an advantage.

This is a 12-month contract position based onsite in Singapore.
