Role overview

This position sits within Nokia’s Mobile Networks COO Supply Chain Management organization, a global team of around 700 professionals operating across roughly 70 countries. The group is responsible for helping the business deliver strong performance, support growth, and improve profitability and cash flow by ensuring supply capability across the full hardware portfolio in line with market needs and business goals. It also owns integrated Sales and Operations Planning, including management of supply, excess, and obsolescence risks.

As part of the Market Operations APAC function, you will own supply chain design, implementation, and end-to-end operations for Mobile Networks across one or more customer teams. The role requires you to identify, plan, and coordinate supply chain work so that customer team and business group targets are met while improving supply performance, profitability, and cash position.

You will be part of the Market Unit Oceania team for Mobile Networks, working closely with customers at the point where new network technologies are being deployed. In this supply chain business ownership role, you will contribute to financial planning for the customer team and gain exposure to customer business models, creating a strong foundation for future career growth.

What you will do

  • Contribute to pre-sales activities by shaping supply chain design, planning supply chain resources, and preparing logistics costing that fits customer needs.
  • Support business planning for the customer team, including order intake, revenue execution, hardware demand, and inventory planning.
  • Run supply chain operations efficiently within agreed cost limits while keeping delivery plans accurate and aligned to project targets for quality, compliance, and cost control.
  • Prepare accurate hardware demand forecasts using customer team inputs and rollout schedules.
  • Assess supply-related risks and take action to reduce or avoid disruptions and related challenges.
  • Coordinate ordering, delivery, and invoicing for Mobile Networks products across hardware, software, and services, ensuring alignment with planned revenue recognition.
  • Manage DOP activities and the Last Mile process.
  • Serve as the main contact for supply chain complaints and escalations from the customer team and/or customer, while coordinating follow-up actions and related requirements.
  • Work with supply chain teams from other business groups on opportunities that involve multiple business groups.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate brings project management capability, strong customer orientation, and a solid record of delivering results successfully.

  • A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience with successful supply chain management.
  • Strong planning and organization skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and meet them consistently.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment and the resilience to work well under pressure.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Strong written and spoken business English.
  • An independent, self-driven, and proactive approach to work, along with good prioritization skills.
