Role Overview
The Customer Success Manager serves as the main owner of the customer relationship, accountable for helping clients gain value from Claritas Rx solutions, expand adoption, and reach their business goals. This role partners closely with Delivery Directors and Project Managers to ensure the customer experience is well managed from onboarding through ongoing partnership. The CSM also acts as the customer’s internal advocate, bringing priorities, concerns, and feedback to the right teams while setting expectations around scope and outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Act as the central contact for customer success, value delivery, and long-term account growth.
- Develop trusted relationships with executive sponsors, business leaders, and operational stakeholders.
- Work with implementation and delivery teams to define goals, success measures, and expectations during onboarding and handoff into steady-state support.
- Manage the post-launch customer relationship by tracking account health, steering priorities, and escalating risks or strategic concerns when needed.
- Represent customer needs internally and make sure the right teams are informed about requests, dependencies, and risks.
- Encourage adoption of Claritas Rx products, share guidance on new capabilities, and identify ways to use data and insights to create business value.
- Lead customer meetings such as status reviews, partnership discussions, and business reviews, including agenda setting and follow-up on action items.
- Partner with Product teams to share customer input on roadmap direction, feature priorities, and scalable solutions.
- Serve as a commercial data subject matter expert to inform strategic recommendations and decisions.
- Travel to customer locations, industry events, or company offices as needed, up to 25% each quarter depending on business priorities.
Required Background and Skills
- Strong understanding of biopharmaceutical marketing, managed markets, or distribution channels.
- Excellent analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills with a data-oriented approach.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Advanced quantitative analysis ability and expert-level Microsoft Excel skills.
- Proven success in building strategic customer relationships and handling client-facing projects.
- Ability to solve problems, coordinate projects, organize work effectively, and align expectations across stakeholders.
- Skill in active listening, understanding customer needs, and applying product or solution knowledge to business challenges.
- Strong interpersonal presence, empathy, persistence, and the ability to drive outcomes with resilience.
- Preferred: 5+ years in healthcare consulting, commercial, or client-facing roles.
- Preferred: familiarity with healthcare data sources such as transactional, clinical, and behavioral data; experience with hub or specialty pharmacy data is especially valued.
- Preferred: experience in a commercial role at a pharma/biotech manufacturer or health tech startup.
- Preferred: MBA or another relevant graduate degree such as public health, engineering, operations, IT, or statistics.

Compensation and Benefits
