About the role
Tesco is looking for a Customer Assistant for the Maynooth Extra store in Naas, County Kildare. The business is focused on giving customers a wide choice of products, from groceries and household items to clothing and financial services. Key duties
- Place the customer at the centre of every task and decision.
- Welcome customers naturally, recognise them, and help them with a positive attitude.
- Build familiarity with shoppers and serve them professionally and proudly.
- Support product and service availability so customers can find what they need at all times.
- Handle all items carefully so they stay in good condition and reach customers as expected.
- Keep both the sales area and the back-of-house areas clean and organised.
- Use the training provided to carry out department routines and processes correctly.
- Follow company procedures and health and safety practices at all times.
- Be prepared to assist other departments when needed, even if you have a primary role.
