This opportunity is with a Melbourne-based commercial and industrial builder known for delivering high-quality industrial projects. The business has a strong project pipeline and is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to support the commercial and contractual delivery of work valued at up to $30 million.

You will work alongside the Project Manager and site team, helping drive projects from start to finish with a focus on cost control, contract administration, procurement, and documentation.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle head contractor and subcontractor agreements.
  • Draft scopes of work, tender documents, and procurement schedules.
  • Assess subcontractor quotes and issue trade packages.
  • Track budgets, forecasts, and project cost reporting.
  • Prepare and process progress claims, variations, and payment schedules.
  • Maintain RFIs, contract correspondence, and project records.
  • Support project programming and procurement tasks.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Managers, and consultants to keep delivery on time and within budget.
  • Identify, monitor, and help manage contractual risks and opportunities throughout the project.

Candidate profile
