Role overview

We are working with a major global strategy consultancy in the life sciences sector to hire Consultants for a growing Supply Chain & Operations team. The practice delivers challenging, high-value assignments for clients in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medtech.

Key responsibilities

You will help drive and own workstreams on end-to-end supply chain projects within the life sciences industry.

• Assess and resolve complex issues across research-stage and clinical supply chains
• Support work on manufacturing strategy and network design
• Improve sourcing and procurement processes
• Contribute to demand and supply planning work
• Shape inventory approaches and cost reduction opportunities
• Evaluate distribution and logistics operating models
• Address resilience and risk considerations across the supply chain
• Turn analysis and data into practical recommendations for senior decision-makers
• Build business cases, target operating models, and execution roadmaps
• Work closely with teams spanning R&D, manufacturing, commercial, and operations functions
• Support internal knowledge development and thought leadership efforts

Candidate profile

• Background in strategy or management consulting, ideally with experience in life sciences supply chain or operations
• Solid understanding of pharma and biotech supply chain flows from development through commercial distribution
• Strong analytical ability and disciplined problem-solving skills
• Comfort working in a fast-moving, client-facing environment and explaining complex ideas clearly
• Self-starter mindset with strong intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in life sciences strategy
