About the Role

Qualicare Burlington is seeking compassionate and engaging Companion/Caregivers to join our team in Burlington, Ontario. If you are passionate about making a difference in healthcare through your dedicated services, this is an excellent opportunity for you. Responsibilities

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands.
Assist with organizing mail and engaging in activities like reading.
Help clients with meal planning and preparation.
Perform light housekeeping duties.
Accompany clients on walks and other recreational activities.
Remind clients to take their medications and meals on schedule.
Facilitate social and recreational outings for clients.

Requirements

Must possess a recent Vulnerable Sector Check.
A valid First Aid/CPR Certificate is advantageous.
Ability to provide companionship and social/emotional support.
Willingness to accompany clients on various outings and errands.
Capability to assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
Must understand that companion services do not include personal or hands-on care.

Eligibility
