Collection Officer

Job Summary

The Collection Officer is responsible for tracking outstanding claim payments, delivering claim-related documents to contracted organizations, and passing cheques received from debtors to the Section Head. The role also includes raising any settlement issues with the supervisor when contracted companies delay or fail to clear claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of a high standard of patient care with professionalism, empathy, and attention to service quality across the hospitals and clinics.
• Submit claim documents to the appropriate contracted companies on a monthly schedule.
• Monitor and follow up on all unpaid balances with the relevant companies.
• Speed up payment collection by resolving payment-related concerns and making regular visits to debtors to encourage settlement of outstanding amounts.
• Collect cheques from designated companies and forward them to the Director of Finance for settlement processing.
• Carry out special assignments requested by the Section Head or Director of Finance.
• Handle any other related duties assigned by senior management.

Reporting Line

This position reports to the Credit Control & Collection Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; a diploma in Accounting is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in the same field.
• Prior experience in a hospital setting within the Riyadh area is preferred.
• Good command of English.
• Familiarity with the Riyadh area.
• Strong communication skills.

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and is a full-time, onsite position.
