Clinical Application Specialist

Role overview

Meril is hiring a Clinical Application Specialist in Canada to support transcatheter heart valve (THV) therapy adoption and procedural excellence. The role is based in Toronto, Ontario, and focuses on clinician education, case support, and therapy growth across assigned regions.

Core responsibilities

• Build a strong working understanding of the company’s products and therapies, including how they are used in practice.
• Train physicians and clinical staff so they can achieve advanced capability in the THV procedure and improve patient outcomes.
• Participate in implant cases, prepare and crimp the valve for each assigned procedure, and provide physician support during case execution.
• Handle complaint management activities when required.
• Support cases beyond the assigned territory when the need arises.
• Work with Regional and Territory Managers to define suitable site-selection criteria.
• Coordinate with proctors and the sales team to plan and deliver training for physicians and support staff.
• Partner with the Territory Manager to expand THV therapy through awareness initiatives.
• Guide cardiologists and surgeons during patient selection.
• Contribute to the advancement of THV procedures in both cardiology and surgery settings.
