Role overview
The Queensland Police Service (QPS) is seeking a dependable, hands-on Cleaner/Grounds Person to support the Capricornia District in Woorabinda, Queensland. In this part-time onsite role, you will help keep QPS facilities clean, presentable, and operating smoothly while contributing to a safe and professional work environment.
What you'll do
- Deliver cleaning services that support day-to-day operations and uphold the professional appearance of QPS premises.
- Carry out cleaning tasks in line with the standard specifications used across QPS stations and related sites.
- Organise tasks and schedules so cleaning needs are addressed promptly and efficiently.
- Keep an eye on the condition of cleaning equipment, track consumable supplies, and report when stock levels need attention.
- Work cooperatively with QPS staff to support strong team outcomes.
- Take part in health and safety practices, including identifying and reporting hazards where needed.
- Maintain lawns, outdoor areas, and gardens when required.
- Wash and detail vehicles assigned to the station as required.
Additional information
This position is based in Woorabinda. Applications will stay active for 12 months from the date of consideration. The occupational group is Building Services.
