Role Overview
HCO is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to work from Jubail and contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality engineering assignments.
Responsibilities
- Carry out civil design work, engineering calculations, and technical evaluations.
- Draft drawings, prepare specifications, and compile technical documentation and reports.
- Examine project plans and verify alignment with engineering codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Liaise with project teams, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to keep work coordinated.
- Track construction progress and confirm that site work follows approved drawings and specifications.
- Assist with project delivery by handling schedules, resources, and technical needs.
- Visit sites to inspect work and recommend technical resolutions where necessary.
- Maintain focus on quality, safety, and overall project compliance.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s qualification in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Between 10 and 15 years of professional experience in civil engineering.
- Background in design, construction supervision, or project execution.
- Solid understanding of civil engineering concepts, codes, standards, and working methods.
- Well-developed project coordination and organizational abilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in teams.
- Comfort using engineering design software and related technical tools.
