This role sits within Yas Plaza Hotels by Aldar Hospitality, a group of six international hotels located on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. The property collection is positioned as a lively destination that combines rest, recreation, and indulgence, offering guests a complete Yas Island experience.

Role Overview

The organization is looking to hire a Carpenter to join its hotel team in Abu Dhabi. In this position, you will build, fit, install, and restore wooden structures and fixtures, along with plywood and wallboard elements, using both hand tools and power tools designed for carpentry work.

Candidate Profile

• A high school qualification with a focus on technical trades is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the hotel sector is needed.
• Practical ability in woodwork, fixtures, furniture, gypsum board work, doors, cabinets, and general carpentry is expected.
• Experience with decoration, painting, and polishing will be considered an added advantage.
• You should be capable of understanding safety-related documents such as lockout/tagout procedures, JSA documents, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and procedure guides.
• You must be able to prepare routine reports, maintain logs, and handle written correspondence.
• Strong verbal communication skills are necessary for interacting effectively with both colleagues and guests.
