Key responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of the Pilot in Command for daily flight operations.
  • Flag and document any cabin defects or maintenance concerns with the Pilot in Command.
  • Partner with pilots, maintenance teams, and cleaning staff to keep the aircraft clean and fully serviced.
  • Complete pre-flight inspections of cabin equipment before each departure.
  • For Part 91 flights, ensure passengers follow applicable federal regulations during flight.
  • Explain the aircraft’s safety features to passengers before takeoff.
  • Take charge of the cabin and assist during emergencies, medical incidents, or evacuations.
  • Use emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers, life rafts, oxygen systems, and AEDs.
