Business Operations Executive

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially aware Business Operations Executive to support the daily running of a peptide manufacturing and distribution business. Reporting to the Director, this position plays a central role in keeping operations efficient, contracts on track, and communication flowing smoothly between customers, scientific specialists, and internal teams.

The right candidate will have a background in Biochemistry, Microbiology, or another life sciences discipline, along with strong business judgement and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where both scientific understanding and operational discipline matter.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day operational work of the peptide manufacturing and distribution function.
• Continuously look for ways to improve workflows, efficiency, and overall service quality.
• Track customer contract execution and make sure all commitments, deadlines, and deliverables are fulfilled.
• Work closely with manufacturing partners, suppliers, logistics teams, and clients to keep orders moving without disruption.
• Act as the main contact for clients and maintain clear, professional communication across the full customer journey.
• Interact confidently with scientists, researchers, laboratories, and technical specialists using appropriate biochemistry and microbiology terminology.
• Draft quotations, proposals, operational updates, and other business documents.
• Keep an eye on inventory, production planning, and supply chain activity to support uninterrupted operations.
• Review operational information and business performance data to spot patterns, address problems, and inform decision-making.
• Resolve operational issues quickly and put practical corrective actions in place.
• Maintain precise records and help ensure adherence to company quality expectations and relevant regulatory obligations.
• Assist the Director with strategic work, business growth initiatives, and special assignments.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a closely related scientific field.
• About 3 to 5 years of experience in business operations, project coordination, life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or a similar sector.
• Exposure to peptide manufacturing, laboratory settings, or scientific products is a strong plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with ERP or CRM platforms will be considered an advantage.

Work Context

This role is based in Dubai and is intended for onsite work.
