About the Team

You will join the ShopeePay Regional Business Intelligence & Analytics group, a team focused on using data to strengthen fintech growth across Southeast Asia. Role Overview

This position calls for a data-driven analyst who can uncover meaningful patterns, manage analytical initiatives end to end, and turn insights into practical business actions. The work involves partnering with different teams, maintaining reporting assets, improving data quality, and helping refine the data ecosystem so the business can scale efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis to surface trends, opportunities, and risks that may shape business strategy and growth.
• Own data-focused initiatives from planning through delivery, making sure work is completed on schedule and supports business priorities.
• Work with stakeholders across the company to translate insights into decisions and processes that support user growth, revenue improvement, and app engagement, while adapting to changing business needs.
• Build and update performance dashboards and detailed analytical reports to track ShopeePay’s operational results.
• Carry out data cleansing and transformation tasks to keep datamart information accurate and consistent.
• Contribute to improvements in the data stack, including pipelines, models, and reporting systems, with the goal of better scalability and efficiency.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Finance/Banking, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Solid command of SQL for advanced querying and analysis.
• Python knowledge is beneficial.
• Proven ability to independently manage project milestones and complete work within deadlines.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability, with a clear and structured approach to business issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex findings clearly to stakeholders at different levels.
• Exposure to AI tools, workflow automation, or generative AI applications that improve efficiency is an added advantage.
