Role Overview
The Business Development Director will be responsible for driving growth by opening new revenue channels, deepening client and partner relationships, and supporting long-term business expansion. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on market development, relationship management, and cross-functional leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and pursue fresh business opportunities that support company growth.
- Develop and nurture relationships with customers, suppliers, distributors, partners, and vendors.
- Review existing partnerships and sales activities to strengthen what is effective and improve what is not.
- Oversee major client accounts and establish new high-value relationships.
- Increase the company’s visibility, market presence, and brand reach.
- Lead teams across sales, marketing, customer service, and client relationship management.
- Build strong internal and external connections that improve lead flow and expand market share.
- Form cross-functional teams to support steady, sustainable growth.
- Monitor new market movements and industry trends.
- Promote an entrepreneurial mindset and growth-oriented culture across the organization.
- Identify opportunities for new services and business offerings.
- Develop proposals for strategic partnerships and collaborations.
- Contribute to the company’s long-term goals and the plans needed to achieve them.
- Study emerging markets and recommend expansion opportunities.
- Advise on product development, distribution, and promotional strategy.
- Spot sponsorship opportunities, including those tied to nonprofit involvement.
- Maintain productive relationships with vendors.
- Deliver webinars and presentations that improve brand and product visibility.
- Evaluate potential vendors and negotiate contractual terms.
- Travel to vendor sites, distribution centers, and other relevant locations as needed.
- Respond to requests for proposals from prospective partners and customers.
- Support the development of customer-facing digital platforms and online experiences.

This position is based in Doha, Qatar, and is a full-time onsite role.
