Business Analyst

Role overview

This contract Business Analyst position is based in Toronto, Ontario and offers hybrid working with two days onsite. The assignment supports a Virtual Data Room migration from one platform to Box, including end-to-end implementation and migration support, along with the creation of user-facing documentation.

Contract details

• Employment type: Contract
• Assignment length: 5 months, with a chance of extension
• Start date: June 11, 2026
• Pay rate: C$60.00 to C$70.00 per hour in CAD
• Working pattern: Monday to Friday during core business hours
• Travel: No travel required

Key responsibilities

• Support the transition from one Virtual Data Room platform to Box
• Develop and organize end-user documentation during the engagement
• Help approximately 140 stakeholders across multiple lines of business through a smooth rollout
• Keep the workstream moving against compressed deadlines and project milestones
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to enable the migration process

Required experience and capabilities

• Hands-on experience with Box or a comparable VDR platform, including document management and access/permission administration
• Background in migration work and SaaS application configuration or setup
• Prior work in an Agile delivery environment
• Working knowledge of Jira
• Clear communication and strong interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred qualifications

• Previous involvement in data migration initiatives
• Familiarity with highly regulated environments and data-related compliance requirements
• Experience preparing technical documentation

Education requirement

Post-secondary education is required.

Experience requirement

Candidates should bring 5 to 7 years of overall professional experience.
