Role overview
This entry-level to associate business analyst role is focused on helping the organization improve how it operates and make better decisions. The position involves examining data, reviewing workflows, and spotting opportunities to increase efficiency, productivity, and overall performance.
Core work
You will collect, organize, and interpret business requirements while partnering with stakeholders to understand operational pain points, business needs, and strategic priorities. The role also includes preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations that highlight performance indicators, market or business trends, customer patterns, and the effectiveness of internal processes.
In addition, you will support cross-functional teams with project execution, process improvement, and broader transformation efforts. Your recommendations should be grounded in data and aimed at helping the company make informed decisions, streamline operations, and support long-term growth.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Management, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a similar discipline is required. The ideal candidate should bring strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and a sharp eye for detail.
Comfort with spreadsheets, reporting platforms, data analysis techniques, and business process review is important. Experience with requirement collection, process mapping, performance tracking, project coordination, and business reporting is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication, presentation ability, and interpersonal skills are needed to work effectively with stakeholders at different levels. Good organization and time management are also essential, especially when handling several priorities and deadlines. Familiarity with business intelligence, process improvement methods, change management, data visualization, and data-informed decision-making will be an advantage.
