About the Role
Bacha Coffee is looking for a Brand Trainer to support learning and development across its Singapore operations and partner network. The role is centered on building employee capability, strengthening brand pride, and helping teams represent the brand consistently at a high standard. The successful candidate will also represent Bacha Coffee in trainings, launches, openings, and other public-facing brand activities with corporate and private clients.

Reporting and Working Relationships
This position reports to the Senior Brand Experience Trainer. It works closely with Human Resources, Operations, Corporate Sales, and Corporate Communications teams in Singapore, and also supports General Managers, Trainers, Operations Managers, and HR teams across subsidiary and franchise offices outside Singapore. Externally, the role coordinates with vendors and service providers such as corporate customers, training consultants, and production houses.
What You Will Do
- Support the Senior Trainer in all learning and development matters and carry out guidance accurately.
- Deliver workshops and training initiatives from the Bacha Coffee learning and development curriculum in line with facilitator guides and expected standards.
- Seek feedback regularly from the Senior Trainer and use it to strengthen facilitation quality.
- Make sure Corporate Sales partner training is delivered to the same level of quality as sessions conducted at the Coffee Institute.
- Handle multiple learning and development priorities in Singapore across the Coffee Institute and corporate partners.
- Confirm that competencies gained through training, including brand experience, selling, serving, managing, supervising, and barman-related skills, are assessed with the correct tools.
- Observe training delivery across operations and step in to coach or redirect anyone not meeting facilitation standards.
- Ask for support whenever a task falls outside your confidence level or capability.
- Recommend new training topics and ideas that improve operations and support employees throughout their development journey.
- Keep strong, regular communication with employees, including visiting them at their work areas so they feel heard and supported, and sharing updates with the Senior Trainer.
- Help maintain an organised system for tracking all learning and development activity and individual feedback.
- Assess training needs and adjust delivery methods to match learner requirements and intended outcomes.
- Transfer knowledge and skills through training delivery, group discussion facilitation, and responses to learner questions.
- Encourage ongoing development by giving feedback and learner support.
- Review curriculum effectiveness and suggest improvements based on learner feedback, delivery methods, and training materials.
- Conduct on-the-job training at Bacha Coffee locations in Singapore and internationally.
Performance Measures
- Completion of required training modules by employees.
- Retention and application of knowledge and skills after training.
- Improvement in customer conversion rates.
- Better customer satisfaction, loyalty, and feedback outcomes.
- Strong results in mystery audits and service compliance checks.
- Contribution to training efficiency, return on investment, and overall sales performance.
Requirements
- A diploma or degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Trainer certification such as ACTA or ACLP.
- Background in F&B and retail, with luxury goods experience seen as a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience in F&B, retail, or learning and development within a corporate setting.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
- Public speaking experience.
- Confident use of MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to establish trusted business relationships at different organizational levels.
- Strong presentation ability and comfort following structured training plans.
- Capacity to work independently, manage pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexible, proactive, agile, and able to contribute effectively as a team player.
- Willingness to travel out of town and occasionally stay overnight, around 10% of the time.
- Must wear the Bacha Coffee uniform while on duty.
- Ability to train in a second language such as Chinese, Arabic, Japanese, German, French, or another relevant language is essential for working with subsidiary and franchise partners.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience developing training content or working with a Learning Management System.
- Comfort working in a multinational environment and interacting with people from different nationalities every day.
