About the role

Pals and Franky's are looking for a imaginative, well-organised Brand Manager who is excited by growth and ready to help shape marketing across Australia and New Zealand. This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who enjoys being across content, community, campaigns, partnerships, and activations. You will work closely with the wider marketing and sales teams to deliver connected brand activity, coordinate packaging and artwork changes, and bring high-impact experiential ideas to life.

The position suits a versatile marketer who wants to make a meaningful contribution to two prominent New Zealand drinks brands and help keep them culturally relevant and visible.

Key responsibilities

Content, social media, and channel planning

  • Steer the planning of content across campaigns, product introductions, collaborations, and activations across owned, earned, and paid channels.
  • Write and manage briefs for creative output and assets, working with internal teams and external partners to produce high-quality work.
  • Support execution of the digital and social strategy and budget for Pals.
  • Review performance across channels, observe audience patterns and consumer insights, and use findings to improve engagement and uncover growth opportunities.

Community, creator, and advocacy work

  • Manage relationships with brand advocates and creators to build awareness and strengthen brand advocacy.
  • Run product seeding activity and ambassador programmes to drive trial and earn media coverage.
  • Find, brief, and oversee third-party creators who can produce authentic content and extend the reach of campaigns, launches, and key brand moments.
  • Measure seeding, creator, and advocacy activity to improve return on investment and increase brand effect.
  • Oversee community engagement on social platforms and convert audiences into active brand supporters.

Campaign and creative execution

  • Contribute to the delivery of integrated campaigns, launch plans, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Coordinate brand assets, packaging changes, artwork sign-off, promotional materials, and launch collateral so that execution stays on schedule.
  • Support retail, hospitality, partnership, and experiential activations in close collaboration with the brand and sales teams to maximise market impact.
  • Help manage packaging updates, artwork approvals, promotional items, and launch materials to ensure timely delivery.

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Brand Manager, or around 5 years in a relevant marketing role.
  • Solid project management capability and the ability to juggle several brands, campaigns, and priorities at once.
  • Strong knowledge of social platforms, digital media, content planning, and what drives audience engagement.
  • A creative mindset with a good feel for trends, culture, and audience behaviour.
  • Experience working with agencies and external partners to achieve strong outcomes.
  • Comfortable working at both a strategic level and in a very hands-on execution role.
