About the role

In this position, you will support accurate and efficient billing for enterprise customers. The role involves partnering with different internal teams to solve billing issues, keep account records accurate, improve billing workflows, and help ensure customers receive timely resolutions.
Key responsibilities
- Handle the billing cycle from start to finish, including preparing invoices, setting up accounts, and dealing with unpaid or overdue amounts.
- Investigate and fix billing differences by working with internal groups such as Corporate, Metering, and Customer Service.
- Make sure problematic bills are corrected, completed, and sent to customers without unnecessary delay.
- Keep billing records and account status information accurate and up to date.
- Track the billing process and look for ways to make it faster and more accurate.
- Help introduce improved procedures that reduce delays in billing and support healthier cash flow.
What you should bring
You should be comfortable working with systems and data, organised in your approach, and careful with details. The role suits someone who can solve problems independently, take responsibility for their work, and still meet deadlines in a busy environment. Working well with others and contributing to common goals is also important.
Skills and experience
- Hands-on experience using problem-solving skills to work through customer or billing issues.
- Strong accuracy and the ability to stay focused under pressure and time constraints.
- Confidence in following established processes while using analytical thinking to resolve issues.
- Background in customer service or administration, preferably in billing or operations.
- Advanced capability in Excel and SharePoint.
- Basic SQL knowledge is an advantage, though it is not essential.
