Role overview

This position sits within Branch Banking and focuses on acquiring corporate salary account customers across an assigned geography. The job involves direct interaction with customers, presenting and selling suitable banking products, and serving as the bridge between customers and the bank to deliver strong service quality.

In addition to acquisition, the role supports the Sales Manager with catchment analysis, customer feedback, and spotting new business opportunities. Key responsibilities

  • Bring in new-to-bank corporate salary account customers from the defined segment and generate references from the assigned catchment.
  • Source accounts that meet the bank’s quality standards in terms of customer type, segment fit, and product combination.
  • Ensure that opened accounts are registered, activated, and funded within 3 months.
  • Cross-sell relevant products at the time of account opening, such as mobile banking, net banking, recurring deposits, and fixed deposit activation.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly acquisition targets by understanding the customer’s transaction banking requirements.
  • Support the Sales Manager in catchment mapping and scoping activities.
  • Share regular inputs with the Sales Manager on market opportunities and customer requirements.
  • Follow all selling guidelines, account opening processes, and KYC requirements.
  • Maintain full compliance with internal policies and applicable external regulations.
  • Ensure sourcing quality remains aligned with bank policy.
