About the organisation

Single Homeless Project is a major homelessness charity in London, supporting more than 10,000 Londoners each year. The organisation focuses on preventing homelessness, offering safe accommodation, and helping people rebuild their lives and move towards a more stable future. Its approach is rooted in trust, relationship-building, and standing alongside people as they work through barriers that affect safety, stability, and opportunity.

The workplace culture is described as compassionate, committed, and progressive, with a strong emphasis on inclusion. The team environment is trans-inclusive, disability-friendly, and actively working to be anti-oppressive and equitable.

About the role

  • A compassionate, reflective, and resilient working style.
  • Confidence in building trust with people who may be cautious about services.
  • Ability to translate psychological ideas into practical and accessible support.
  • Comfort working with complex needs, risk, and strengths in a real-world setting.
  • Experience of working effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Strong organisation, thoughtful record keeping, and commitment to safe working.
