Role Overview
The company is hiring an Assistant Manager - Service for its Hubli, Karnataka location. The role focuses on field service support, machine commissioning, warranty and mandatory services, troubleshooting, customer relationship management, and coordination with dealer teams to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out commissioning, mandatory servicing, warranty support, and on-site troubleshooting for construction machines at customer locations.
- Maintain accurate machine records and work toward achieving the target MTTR while building strong customer relationships.
- Collaborate with and guide dealer engineers to help improve customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for spare parts sales and workshop repairs and contribute toward achieving assigned targets.
- Monitor competitor activity and keep senior management informed of relevant updates.
- Oversee team operations and take ownership of overall customer satisfaction.
Required Profile
- Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automobile Engineering.
- 10 to 20 years of experience in the earthmoving industry.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and the local language.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work directly on machines.
- Working knowledge of computers, including MS Office.
