Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive Area Supervisor to work closely with the Area Manager and keep multiple store locations operating efficiently, consistently, and to a high standard. This position is well-suited to someone with strong retail knowledge, a hands-on leadership style, and a track record of driving sales while improving customer experience across stores.
In this role, you will connect high-level plans with day-to-day store execution. You will oversee assigned outlets, support Store Managers, review performance, and help ensure that operational, branding, and service standards are met every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Help implement sales plans at store level and ensure they are carried out effectively.
- Review daily sales results and highlight patterns, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Spot opportunities to increase add-on sales, cross-sells, and the movement of slow inventory.
- Make sure promotions, price reductions, and merchandising activities align with company guidelines.
- Keep stock levels under control to avoid excess inventory or shortages.
- Perform random checks and assist with inventory counts.
- Watch expiry dates and inactive stock, and arrange clearance action when needed.
- Maintain standards for store cleanliness, efficiency, and visual presentation.
- Support Store Managers and serve as the first point of contact for store-level issues.
- Ensure customer-facing staff consistently deliver a strong service experience.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new team members.
- Give coaching, feedback, and encouragement to store teams.
- Support compliance with SOPs, health and safety rules, and legal requirements.
- Gather operational information and share it with the Area Manager.
- Check pricing accuracy, discount compliance, and audit-related records.
- Follow up on new initiatives and updated operating procedures.
- Act as the main communication link between the Area Manager and store teams.
- Help coordinate new store launches, promotions, expos, and activation events.
- Organize logistics for launches, campaigns, and stock transfers.
- Work with other teams to keep online and offline activities aligned.
Candidate Profile
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 7 years of experience as a Store Manager or in a comparable position, preferably in retail or a similar industry.
- Good understanding of retail operations, sales methods, and visual merchandising.
- Strong leadership abilities with the confidence to guide and support teams.
- Excellent planning and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, POS tools, and inventory management systems.
- Fluent English skills; Arabic will be an advantage.
- Willingness to travel frequently between store locations.
