Architectural Controller

Role Overview

Jazera Arabia Contracting is hiring an Architectural Controller to supervise architectural execution on construction projects. This position focuses on making sure site activities align with approved drawings, technical specifications, required quality levels, and overall project expectations, while also keeping site coordination smooth and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Check and monitor architectural work on site to confirm it matches the approved drawings and specifications.
• Examine materials, finishes, and workmanship to ensure they meet the required standards.
• Work closely with project engineers, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors on all architecture-related site matters.
• Spot non-conformance issues, record them, and help drive corrective measures.
• Carry out routine inspections and keep documentation of project progress.
• Make sure architectural activities comply with project quality requirements and contractual obligations.
• Review shop drawings and related technical paperwork whenever needed.
• Keep clear and accurate records of inspections, observations, and site updates.
• Assist project teams in addressing architectural and finishing challenges.
• Ensure site compliance with health, safety, and environmental rules.

Requirements

• Diploma-level qualification in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience on construction projects, ideally involving architectural or finishing works.
• Good knowledge of architectural drawings, specifications, and building methods.
• Familiarity with quality control and inspection processes.
• Ability to detect construction defects and suggest practical corrective actions.
• Competence in Microsoft Office and construction documentation handling.
• Strong written and verbal communication, coordination, and reporting abilities.
• Comfortable working in a site-based construction environment.
