Accountant

Role overview

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant position in the Riyadh Region. The selected professional will support the company’s daily accounting work, maintain accurate records, and contribute to reliable financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

The role covers routine accounting tasks such as creating journal entries, issuing invoices, and keeping the general ledger up to date. It also includes handling accounts payable and receivable, performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes.

In addition, the accountant will prepare financial statements and management reports, support budgeting and forecasting work, collaborate with internal teams, contribute to audit activities, and help strengthen financial controls and process efficiency.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a solid grasp of accounting principles, financial reporting, and ledger management. Hands-on experience with accounting systems and advanced Excel use is important for working with financial data accurately and efficiently.

Practical exposure to accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and closing activities is needed. The role also calls for the ability to interpret financial information, spot differences or variances, and present clear insights based on data.

Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management are important for balancing multiple priorities. Good written and spoken communication skills are required for working effectively with different teams.

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is expected. Professional credentials such as CPA, CMA, or SOCPA would be an advantage. Experience in a corporate or project-driven setting, preferably within the region, is also beneficial.

The candidate must demonstrate ethical behavior, respect for confidentiality, and compliance with company rules and relevant accounting regulations.
