Job purpose
This role offers Airbus First Officers a fast-track route to command on an improved compensation package. The position involves operating from the right-hand seat for at least 700 stick hours and completing two recurring Evidence Based Training (EBT) modules. Candidates who consistently meet required standards and performance expectations may progress to accelerated command through an assessment and upgrade course.
Total pay and benefits
The package is tax-free and can reach up to AED 970,000 per year (USD 260,000). It includes annual take-home cash of AED 445,000 (USD 120,000), made up of basic salary and flying pay, plus monthly take-home cash of AED 37,100 (USD 10,000) based on an average of 85 flying hours. Eligibility and qualification criteria
Applicants must hold the required flying experience and licensing standards for Accelerated Command. The role requires substantial command experience on Boeing or Airbus fly-by-wire aircraft, recent flying activity, a valid ICAO ATPL with the appropriate Class 1 medical, and ICAO English proficiency at Level 5 or higher. Airbus fly-by-wire qualifications do not include the A220.
Documents required
