Role overview
This remote contract role is designed for a research professional who can contribute subject-matter expertise to improve the training of next-generation AI systems. The work focuses on producing reliable, real-world inputs that help models build stronger reasoning and performance.
Core responsibilities
- Carry out detailed research and analysis within your field, producing well-supported, high-quality insights.
- Handle complex Word and PDF materials, including formatting, tracked changes, form completion, and data extraction.
- Work alongside teams across legal, healthcare, policy, and finance functions to support varied project requirements.
- Convert technical or complex findings into concise reports and presentations aligned with Fortune 500-level expectations.
- Review and combine academic sources, legal records, or business data to guide project deliverables.
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and adherence to all specified standards in written outputs.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders and internal team members in both written and spoken form.
Required background
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in academic research, law, policy, healthcare, or a closely related area.
- Advanced academic qualification such as a Master’s degree, PhD, or JD from a recognized institution.
- Strong working knowledge of Word and PDF review workflows, including tracked edits, formatting, and document extraction.
- Excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfort working independently in a remote environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Experience contributing to multidisciplinary projects with complex deliverables.
- Track record of delivering polished, client-ready work.
Preferred profile
- Background working with Fortune 500 organizations or similar enterprise environments.
- Exposure to document workflows in legal, healthcare, policy, or financial operations.
- Evidence of publications or presentations in academic or professional settings.
