Academic Counselor

Job summary

Gold's Gym Fitness Institute, which operates under Cult.fit, is looking for a driven Academic Counselor to help grow sales of its certificate programs. The role centers on selling fitness-related certifications such as fitness instructor, personal training, and group fitness courses while delivering a strong customer experience.

What you will do

• Work on converting incoming leads into enrollments and contribute to monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
• Identify fresh business opportunities through outreach, networking, and proactive prospecting.
• Create and apply sales approaches that improve course sales, including offers, discounts, and package combinations.
• Respond to customer questions, resolve issues, and guide prospects through the available services and certifications.
• Assess customer needs to recommend the most suitable course options.
• Develop long-term customer relationships that create a positive and lasting experience.
• Handle sales-related administration such as data entry, lead tracking, and reporting.
• Share regular performance updates with the Sales Manager or Institute Head, along with insights on improvement areas.

Requirements

• A background in sales, marketing, or a similar discipline is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in sales, ideally in education or fitness.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to influence and engage prospects.
• Solid selling capability, including negotiation and closing skills.
• Basic knowledge of the fitness sector, especially certifications, personal training, and group exercise.
