Overview
Allegiance Industries, Inc. is hiring a second-shift housekeeper for a manufacturing facility in Abbeville, South Carolina. The role follows a Wednesday through Sunday schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
The ideal candidate is dependable, courteous, willing to go the extra mile, and able to work hard in a fast-paced environment.
Key Duties
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the building by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
- Collect waste and dispose of trash from assigned areas.
- Restock, clean, and maintain restroom areas.
- Prepare cleaning chemicals and solutions in line with product instructions and specifications.
- Lift, move, or reposition furniture, equipment, and other heavy items when needed.
- Spot potential repair issues and share them with the appropriate team.
- Perform floor maintenance tasks such as carpet steam cleaning, waxing, and buffing when required.
- Carry out additional related tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have floor care experience, including stripping, waxing, and buffing floors. They must be physically capable of performing the work, attentive to safety concerns, able to communicate hazards to the right staff, and able to keep to schedules and commitments. A valid method of reliable transportation is required, along with the ability to take direction from a supervisor and maintain a professional manner.
