About the internship

This part-time, on-site internship is with Bark N Brush, a pet care brand in Patna that brings together grooming, veterinary support, pet products, and pet care services. The role is focused on helping the brand grow its presence across digital channels while also supporting content creation around the in-store experience.

What you’ll do

Come up with fresh content concepts for Instagram, Facebook, Google Business Profile, reels, stories, and short-form videos featuring pets, grooming, veterinary services, products, and day-to-day store moments.
Work with the in-store team to capture grooming makeovers, pet clips, product features, customer feedback, and service-related visuals.
Appear on camera when needed for reels, introductions, offers, service walk-throughs, trend-led videos, and simple pet-care content.
Approach customers and ask for reviews or testimonials, including short video feedback whenever possible.
Edit photos and videos at a basic level using mobile tools such as Canva, CapCut, VN, Instagram editor, or similar apps.
Keep track of Instagram reel trends, social media trends, pet-related content ideas, and local marketing opportunities.
Support weekly planning and execution of content.
Coordinate occasionally with the performance marketing team to align content with ads and campaign ideas.

Who can apply

This opportunity is open only to applicants who can work part time, begin between 17 June 2026 and 22 July 2026, stay for 6 months, and are based in Patna. Candidates should have relevant skills and interest in the role. Freshers looking for jobs may also apply.

Work expectations

Candidates should be available to work in-office, mostly during the evenings, for about 2–3 hours per day.
Applicants should be comfortable appearing on camera, speaking with customers, and creating content inside the store.
Basic familiarity with Instagram, reels, stories, Canva, CapCut, VN, or similar editing apps is preferred.
Being active on social media and having a good sense of trends and content ideas will be an advantage.
Strong communication skills and confidence in requesting reviews or testimonials are important.
Pet lovers, or those comfortable around dogs and cats, will be preferred.
Female candidates are preferred because the business is led by a female founder and the role involves customer interaction, pet-parent reviews, grooming experiences, and in-store content creation.

Compensation and additional details

The internship offers a monthly stipend of ₹18,500 to ₹20,000, structured as fixed pay of ₹15,000 to ₹16,000 per month plus an incentive component of ₹3,500 to ₹4,000 per month. If the internship converts into a permanent role, the expected annual salary is ₹3,60,000 to ₹4,00,000.
