About the role
Sulco Tools & Equipment is looking for a Tools Sales Representative to help grow the business in Nelson. You’ll be responsible for supporting customers in your territory, building strong long-term relationships, and contributing to revenue and profitability in a fast-moving, supportive environment.

What you’ll do
- Look after an existing customer base while also finding new opportunities to win business
- Work with other GPC businesses to protect and expand market presence
- Plan weekly sales calls and customer visits to improve sales outcomes
- Keep customer records up to date and make sure stock levels align with customer demand
- Present current product ranges and seasonal offers to customers
- Prepare regular updates on sales results, competitor movements, and market opportunities
- Support a safe work culture by putting safety first and following safe practices at all times
Role requirements
This position involves physical tasks such as lifting, bending, climbing, and safe driving.

A strong interest in, or prior experience with, the automotive trade is important because the customers are experienced professionals in that field.
