Role Overview

This position is for a field survey and data collection assignment based in Dubai, where the selected candidates will gather statistical information from households and establishments. The work requires accuracy, professionalism, and regular coordination with the field supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete both classroom-style and hands-on training modules and clear the final evaluation successfully.
• Learn the core concepts and reference material related to office-based and on-site statistical survey work.
• Use electronic mapping tools to receive allocated zones and survey samples.
• Review the assigned areas in advance and understand their key characteristics.
• Visit households, businesses, or authorized contacts to collect correct and complete information.
• Check survey documents carefully, identify mistakes, and make the necessary corrections.
• Plan and manage visit timings, including coordinating appointments with households and establishments.
• Escalate operational, technical, or administrative issues to the field supervisor.
• Upload collected data electronically every day.
• Follow workplace conduct standards, including carrying official identification and keeping the device ready for use.
• Carry out daily quality checks and verify data before final submission.
• Share feedback and field observations on a regular basis.
• Stay in ongoing contact with the field supervisor to resolve field issues quickly.

Requirements

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong command of English in both speaking and writing.
• Minimum qualification of a diploma.
• Comfortable using computers and common digital tools.
• Preference for applicants with English test credentials such as TOEFL 40+ or IELTS Band 5+.
• Must hold a valid residency visa.
• Professional behavior and sound personal conduct are essential.
• Should be medically fit for field-based work.
