Role Overview

The Storekeeper (Stock Associate) will support store operations by keeping back-of-house stock activities organized, accurate, and efficient. This role contributes to smooth replenishment, better stock control, and a clean, well-managed stock room that supports sales on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Help the store team with pre-retail tasks such as goods receipt note processing, scanning, and tagging so stock can be prepared without delays.
• Keep the stock room orderly and easy to work in so store operations run efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the stock area while following company and brand presentation standards.
• Share ideas and practical improvements that can increase stock room productivity and make better use of storage space.
• Keep stock room organization, folding methods, and size arrangement aligned with the sales floor for quicker replenishment.
• Follow all health and safety requirements to reduce the chance of incidents or injuries.
• Support floor sales by quickly moving stock from the stock room to the shop floor and replenishing shelves as needed.
• Provide support to the sales team on the shop floor whenever additional help is needed to improve revenue.
• Track stock movement and help minimize errors during deliveries, transfers, and inventory counts.
• Assist loss prevention efforts by getting ready for stock takes, managing access to the stock room, and ensuring CCTV coverage is properly considered.

Qualifications

Candidates should bring 2 to 4 years of experience in retail operations, ideally with exposure to stock room handling or store supervision.

Required Skills

• Highly organized with a strong eye for detail and the ability to handle inventory accurately.
• Comfortable communicating and coordinating with both sales staff and management.
