Role Overview
Jurong Port is looking for a Store Executive to manage store and warehouse activities, with a focus on spare parts handling, inventory accuracy, safety, and coordination with maintenance teams.
Inventory and Store Operations
- Accept incoming stock, verify it against records, label items correctly, and place them in the designated storage locations.
- Release spares only against approved requests and ensure items are issued accurately.
- Apply working knowledge of technical stock items when handling inventory.
- Use warehouse space efficiently and keep storage areas well organized.
- Follow company policies, operating procedures, and safety rules at all times.
Systems and Documentation
- Record every stock movement accurately in the inventory system.
- Keep complete documentation for receipts, issues, and returns.
- Carry out stock takes, cycle counts, and checks to investigate any variances.
Store Safety and Housekeeping
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and orderly store environment.
- Manage spares safely, including items that are heavy, delicate, or critical.
- Observe all requirements related to safety, storage practices, and pallet racking.
Coordination and Support
- Work closely with maintenance teams to confirm spare part availability and respond to urgent requests.
- Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement activities.
- Take on additional store-related duties as needed.
Requirements
- Certificate-level qualification or an equivalent credential in Warehouse Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
- At least 3 years of experience in warehousing and inventory control.
- Forklift operation experience and a valid forklift license are required.
- A Singapore Class 3 driving licence is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of spare parts and technical inventory is beneficial.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Able to work shift duties.
