Role overview

This position is centered on leading business intelligence and data analysis activities, working closely with the IT function to build and improve tools for analysis, research, and reporting that help drive decisions. The role also involves using gap analysis to spot underperformance and turning findings into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

Core accountabilities

• Help shape data management and reporting frameworks that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Direct the selection, design, and rollout of analytics solutions so the business can use strong data mining and reporting capabilities.
• Build financial KPIs and dashboards that support performance tracking, reporting, and decision-making.
• Monitor data integrity and non-sensitive data protection concerns, and ensure issues are handled through proper security procedures and resolved quickly.
• Escalate any quality or protection issues involving sensitive data so they are addressed in a timely and appropriate way.
• Oversee the day-to-day work of data analysts so business teams receive accurate information for operational decisions.
• Lead strategic research and analysis work while maintaining quality, completeness, and compliance with analysis and data integrity standards.
• Review complex action plans that support business functions during scenario implementation.
• Create implementation roadmaps and execution plans to help business teams carry out the agreed actions.
• Support functions in planning and tracking execution so scenarios are implemented successfully.
• Use analytical insights to guide the business toward identified revenue opportunities.
• Coach, advise, and guide the team to maintain strong performance and high-quality output.

Qualifications

The role calls for a minimum of a 2-year diploma, with Six Sigma specialization preferred. Applicants should be comfortable using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint, along with SQL and other business intelligence platforms. A minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience is required.
