Key responsibilities

• Create, revise, and manage integrated schedules for engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track progress against the approved baseline plan using scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Carry out critical path reviews, earned value analysis, and forward-looking schedule forecasts.
• Spot timeline risks early and help shape practical mitigation actions.
• Work with project teams to allocate resources efficiently and reduce delays.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reporting on schedule status and overall project performance for management and stakeholders.
• Assess subcontractor and vendor programmes to confirm they are aligned with project milestones and deadlines.
• Guide and support junior planning engineers by sharing project controls knowledge and best practices.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant brings at least 12 years of hands-on experience in project planning and scheduling in EPC settings, with exposure to oil and gas, civil, marine, power, or plant-related projects. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a similar discipline is required. Strong capability in project controls, critical path analysis, resource planning, and risk management is essential, along with advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
