About the Role
Zaxbys is looking to add an Assistant Manager at its Easley, SC location. This role supports a restaurant environment where guests come for a fun experience, good food, and time with friends. Compensation
The pay range for this position is $18.00 to $24.00 per hour.

Key Duties
The Assistant Manager is expected to oversee daily restaurant operations, support the team, and make sure guests receive a consistently strong experience.
- Complete required training, including the Assistant Manager Development Plan, food safety certification, manager certification, and any other training assigned by the company
- Improve guest satisfaction by helping the team meet and exceed expectations
- Train, coach, and develop team members on an ongoing basis
- Build work schedules that follow company standards and local legal requirements
- Assign shift tasks, communicate expectations clearly, and adjust plans as needed
- Provide leadership and coaching so team members can perform at a high level and work toward quarterly goals
- Protect product quality, service standards, and cleanliness across the restaurant
- Report performance issues to the General Manager
- Support performance reviews and help mentor team members
- Promote a positive workplace culture and strong morale through recognition and example
- Address and report guest and team complaints, concerns, and injuries promptly and respectfully
- Ensure procedures, policies, and operational processes are followed throughout the day
- Keep the restaurant aligned with all Zaxbys and Zax LLC rules, policies, and procedures
- Follow all applicable federal, state, and local laws and guidelines
- Use management tools and maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date records
- Support safety practices and ensure the team follows safety procedures
- Report human resources and risk management concerns immediately to the General Manager and District Manager
- Escalate additional issues to the supervisor when needed
- Handle other duties necessary for proper restaurant operations
- Show flexibility and be willing to take on work beyond the basic scope of the job when needed
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and dependable transportation are required
- Open availability is needed, with the ability to work at least 5 days and 32 to 48 hours per week
- Must be available for days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Successful background check is required
- Should demonstrate leadership, organization, and a cooperative approach to working with others
- 1 to 3 years of management experience is required
- Experience in restaurant management is preferred
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Should be able to stoop, bend, crouch, and climb occasionally, including ladder use
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting
- Requires frequent use of hands and wrists for gripping and detailed hand work
- Must communicate clearly through speaking, reading, and writing
- Should be able to observe and respond effectively to the surrounding environment using sight and hearing
- Will work in temperature-variable conditions and around food allergens
- Must operate restaurant equipment safely, including knives, fryers, and other hazardous equipment
